At Estudio Persona in LA with my Metal Purse
I’m inspired by..
- San Diego, CA (my hometown!)
- Furniture, soft goods, and ceramics.
- Buildings with rounded glass windows.
- Wild blackberry bushes.
- SoCal’s coastal wetlands.
- How history and design shape our present.
- The smell of old car exhaust.
- Tea before bed, with honey.

A bit of what I’m currently observing, reading, listening, absorbing...

1. Forever Howlong - Black Country, New Road. Great album!
2. White Oleander by Janet Fitch. Novel that explores girlhood in LA.
3. The Kitchen Sisters Podcast. Insightful and delightful stories “from the b-sides of history.”
4. La Resistencia. An art gallery curated by friend Adrian Villabos-Carbal at Plaza de la Raza in LA
